The Master’s course in Applied Chemistry of the State University of the Mid-Western (Unicentro) was approved in 2006 by the Scientific Technical Council (CTC) of Capes who endorsed the opinion of the Area Commission and recommended concept 3.0. In this way, the Master course began its activities working on two lines of research: (1) Materials, Interfaces and Applications and (2) Analytical Methodologies and Applications.
Throughout its existence, the Master’s Course in Applied Chemistry has been committed to strengthening research lines, consolidating research groups, approving and preparing new research projects, and publishing scientific articles in national and international journals with high impact factors.
The Post Graduate Program in Chemistry has also sought to offer to students a broad and versatile training enabling them to work in various industrial and academic sectors and also a solid scientific education that allows them to continue their studies at a Doctoral degree.
